What is the point of having a free app if you have to pay for it and cant even make an account on the app, it has to be pre existing.

I like this app enough to keep it but a few enhancements are needed. Id like to be able to silence the rings without having to silence my entire device. It would be nice if it didnt ring in my ear when Im on the phone with someone else. Also how about letting me block callers?

Ive had the app/service for a yr now. I work internationally so I like that I was able to keep my number and family and friends can stay connected if I have wifi/data. Calls have worked pretty well so far. There are times that missed calls and texts dont go through. When I get a call, unlocking my screen doesnt answer it or open the app. I have to go into the app then answer the call. Not the worst thing ever but is annoying when youre in a hurry or trying not to miss the call. Would love the ability to receive group texts and to send/receive pics. With those options readily available in countless apps it makes magicJack appear antiquated. But as far as calls go, it works. I like that I can stay in touch even when Im out of the country.

1-Star until iOs 10 Call Kit Integration, its been a year since youve updated this, even Skype has Call Kit integration, Im tired of missing calls because your app doesnt ring.

Does not work, customer support is the worst. I used to be a magic jack user and fan. Now no more.

Since the new apple iPhone update this app doesnt function as well as it did. It will consistently just crash in the middle of the phone. It isnt the reception/wifi dropping out, the whole app just crashes and I have to restart the whole program. For an app I pay for I would like to have more stability. Just crashing multiple times in a given conversation is now getting old. Also, I would like to see an update that silences the phone when "do not disturbed" is turned on. I dont understand why this is the only app that isnt silenced when I apply "do not disturb". Other than these two issues I love this app. I really like that I can have a stateside number my family can call/text. Although I know I can use things such as FaceTime audio, this is so much easier on my dad and in particular my grandfather, who does not own a smart phone. Please just fix those two issues.

All had been working fine until updated my iPhone to OS10.1 now every call is dropped just after the other person answers.This used to work with my bluetooth headset until the OS update by Apple. When I chatted with Support for MagicJack they only said I should go back to my previous OS which Apple says you can not do. I tried uninstall of App,reinstall,Reset iPhone, Powercycle MagicJack Go adaptor all to no Joy. Dont buy this till MagicJack decides to fix known problems. Support is non responsive with no other fix but to break your phone to fix their upgrade problems.

So bad! Continually tells me I need a subscription when it never used to ask for one. Stop randomly changing things around and have a look at your feedback.

App sold me time for international use but repeatedly does not work in Europe. Not a lot of money but no one likes being deceived by seller. & reflects poorly on Apple for offering shady apps.

The last update available for this app was back in January. Almost all year it hasnt worked for me when receiving calls. Im able to make calls but not receive them. Waste. Ive been using FREE Googlevoice since this doesnt work anymore.

Ive used MagicJack for 3 years. Customer service essentially doesnt exist. The app is buggy, cant clear old call records. Its days are numbered once WhatsApp offers a similiar service.

The service is good in theory but their app is poor. It doesnt respond to settings you place on their website for your account. Customer service is only via live chat and you get different answers from different reps for the same problem.

Good for if u dont have a phone

Overall am quite happy with Magicapp. The subscription service is well worth the upgrade to get assigned a static phone number. Sometimes there is an echo during a call, but its usually not too bad. It is not 100% reliable either since there are sometimes periods where either a calling party cannot get through, or sometimes in the middle of a long conversation the audio might drop out. One must realize though that youre talking over the internet which is not always reliable, so have to cut this app some slack and expect a hiccup every now and then. Other than that, it all works fine for me on a 5th gen iPod touch running the latest IOS. This app extends the usefulness of the iPod immeasurably, and I consider it a MUST have app. Have used it daily now for almost a year, and often speak for several hours on end without issues. The pluses this service provides far outweighs any reliability issues. Am subtracting 1 star though because there is still no way to change ringtones from that rather harsh sounding bell! Please fix this and put a couple other ringtones in there to choose from, and might give it 5 stars - HELLO MAGICAPP DEVELOPERS, ARE YOU LISTENING?

BUYER BEWARE Think long and hard before using this product. The customer service is so bad it is beyond rational comprehension. Do not make my same mistake and purchase their product thinking it will simply work in your mobile phone. You will go crazy dealing with their customer service.

I have used magicapp on my iPhone and iPad for 2 years. Its great for cutting dependence on cell phone providers. The call quality is always great, have not had any issues with the service or app. My only complaint is with the release of iOS 10 the integration with CallKit has not yet been utilized. This app would be even better if CallKit was used for answering calls from the lock screen like a native iPhone call and initiating magicapp calls from the native iOS contacts app.

Could you please add a block caller option? Im sick of getting Verizon calls for wrong numbers, or random wrong numbers.

Ever since iOS 10 has been out this app has failed to keep up. Apple now allows us to answer calls from her lock screen, however the app needs to be updated to support it. Also, it now seems to crash almost every time I use it. I have the dongle at home and that works great but the app is behind the times.

My magic jack calls not going through but text does. Please help me sort this out as soon as you can. Thanks as I await your swift response
