magicApp Calling & Messaging App Reviews

People arent getting my messages they say. The phone calls arent clear. Cant send pics. Had high hopes but never knowing if someone gets my message is not good.

I dont live in the states at the moment, so I use this to talk to family and friends. It used to work fairly well except that connection on calls never happened unless I was on wifi. Now Ive had several texts not go out or come through and for some reason some people receive my texts in really broken pieces, sometimes just letters at a time or even missing letters. Its really frustrating, but idk what else to use that doesnt require the other person to have the app as well.

Okay so this app USED to work okay but now when I use it I can hear a person talk for all of ten seconds and then itll just start breaking up! Plus I keep getting the notification saying to turn my notifications on when I open the app, problem is that my notifications are already on. This app is starting to annoy me so much that Im about to go to whatsapp.

Great App, but Magic Jack needs to support ApplePay in this app to add international calling credit.

I upgraded to get my us phone number and it didnt give me an option to get my us number wth, still says the generic majicjack number, wont renew if it wont give me what I made purchase for

Despite the fact that it says you can choose your own US number, it picks the number for you. I thought Id be able to select from a list, but its automatically chosen by the system. Total false advertising, I want a refund!

Why is there no option to switch to Speaker Phone just like my actual phone can? If I dont wish to hold the phone to my head (which I rarely do) I can only choose to use a headset, but not Speaker. Come on guys! It cant be that hard to offer the button to switch to the Speaker. Please update the app to add this option. Thank you!

I have to delete the app unless I want to make a call. I use this as a private outgoing line. Two to three times a day, with all notifications off, some robot or other will call. Buzzes 10-12 times before stopping. A search for the culprit in notifications - even this app showed nothing! Arrrrrrg.

They simulate the call to steal money and minutes. I do not recommend this app to call.

My only complaint is you cant go open another app to get information without getting disconnected. More to come soon.

To the Magic Jack Team... Im a current soldier deployed in the Middle East.. Ive been communicated with my family 24/7 thanks to the Magic Jack App.. I would like to recommend some improvements... 1-Be able to send and receive photos.. 2-Be able to write long text messages... 3-Be able to customize Voice Mail by uploading songs or customized records from the devices library... I have been using MJ for 6 years and have a device plan which can also be used via this app. The app is perfect as I travel a lot and am stationed overseas in Asia. People can text me and call like I was home in Dallas.

works ok. but not all US number are free to call. wont work on conference numbers unless you pay more. and contrast of light blue letters is annoying.

If the app isnt open in the background, and I receive a call, and try to answer that call, the App opens with the caller on hold, or in pause mood, and the app will not let me unclick the pause mode. How earth can someone depend on an app when they cant receive phone calls? I do not recommend this app until this is fixed. This is unacceptable.
